Love to see a manual only Serum. Also a mid size (3.5" blade) folder similar to the Ares or Stryker.

Great idea. I'd take any high end steel in that configuration.

I seriously doubt Benchmade is going back in time to make a liner lock. Especially not in any "high end steel." Liner locks are pretty much only found on budget knives and designs that haven't been updated since the 1990s.

Agreed when it comes to Benchmade. Their liner lock actions and their frame locks(monolock😒) too, have never been executed well imho. But as far as the design being budget or strictly old designs, several other manufacturers have great new designs and produce a great knife with the liner lock action.

I really love the old BM's. I got into folders in the mid 90's. Two of my favorites are the Mini AFCK with a superb SS liner lock and the Mini Stryker with a Ti liner lock. As far as liner locks being found on budget knives....Emerson Knives are doing well with liner locks and plenty of new designs. Others like Kershaw, Spyderco, ZT, Kizer, Fallkniven, HTM, Stedemon,TOPS, Lionsteel, Wilson Tactical, also have liner lock folders with steels that have at least 1% carbon. The Benchmade 890 is an older model that is still around and going strong. The 320 and 757 are newer models that sport liner locks. So yes, we could still see plenty of liner lock folders coming from BM.

An updated 710 other than the Knifeworks exclusive in M390 or 20CV as a regular production model would be nice.

Bringing back the AFCK would be interesting too but I can't see it happening as Benchmade doesn't like going back to older models.

I honestly have no idea how the 890 is still hanging around. I never see anyone carrying it and I can't even remember the last time I saw one in a shop. I'd guess that the 710 and Strykers that are being discontinued outsell the 890 several times over.
