What New Trad for 2008?

I would like to see a Case/Bose 2008 knife be done on the large Clasp Knife pattern.

I think the Yukon skinner from a few years ago matches that desire.

Agree with Case offering more patterns with CV .
Add, other mfgs using Carbon Steel in patterns too.

Case needs to do some offerings, that in my opinion, would attract more folks to knives as being tools and work toward breaking negative stereotypes about knife owners and users.

Also to appeal to those with Restrictions, be these folks in the UK or in the USA with Corporate Policies.

Peanut with scissors and do offerings in handles to appeal to ladies.
White, like the yellow handle for instance to keep price points affordable.

Small Stockman with CV blades.

Put bails on some of these too...
Under 3" closed length to meet "regulations" - still attract more folks to traditional knives.

<snaps fingers>

I want a Case, Barehead Slimline Trapper about one inch shorter closed with CV blades.

Instead of 4 1/8" make it 3 1/8" no more than 3 1/2" closed.

I've had a custom one , and , exactly like the Slimline, and it is right handy, pocket friendly, (light and thin) still a workhorse, and not only did I really like it, the ladies really did too!

After reading the above and thinking about it some more, I want an amber bone Peanut with CV steel and scissors.

There is a Case knife similar to this, but it is just a bit larger than a peanut and has a shackle on it. I can't recall if it's CV or not.

Seahorse in CV would be awesome. I'd buy two.

I'd like to see another jumbo saddlehorn with the huge spey blade. I don't have one yet and love 'em.

Maybe another trapper with the long pulls.

Speaking of Long Pulls...

How about doing these long pulls with "match striking" design like they used to.

Remember these? One could easily strike a Kitchen Match - a Real Strike Anywhere Kitchen match on the nail nicks of knives.

Not to mention as one gets older, nail nicks tend to shrink and it is right nice to have that long pull with striker feature to get "aholt" of the durn thing.

I'm with y'all - more knives with CV steel from Case! In particular, I'd like to see a Copperlock offered in CV, again. It's tough to snag one on the Bay.
From Queen, I'd like to see more offerings in 1095. A butterbean or their liner-locking hunter in 1095 with their amber bone would be sweet!

i want a some one to make a slippy single blade 52100 steel flat ground sub 3 incher.
pj Tomes makes knives like this, but more affordable would be better.

How about the new Case Sway Back Jack?

Very nice swayback. Unfortunately, it's not listed on Case's site, nor can I find one anywhere else. Must be brand new!

Also, I found a Small Pen Knife with scissors and bail, but no Peanut. Hmm... This isn't the first time I've had problems locating Case products.
