What one thing do you wish your Leatherman had?

You should be able to get them from a local auto parts place such as Autozone or Advance Auto Parts.

The only additional thing that I need on a LM is a CEO that keeps his politics to himself. I was a huge fan of LM and have owned and given dozens as gifts. But the luster left when Tim went out on a limb for a particular candidate. I only buy LM on a give away sale price now. Carried a ST 200 for nine years and loved it. I carry a SOG now. A great tool as well.

I couldnt care less what his politics are , its the tool that matters , if he makes a good one and it fits your needs use it . Its no good being in the sh*t one day because the multitool you have is either broken or doesnt have the right tool you need , all of a sudden his politics wont seem so important and youve sold yourself short and bit your nose off to spite your face . If the tool fits your needs use it and remember its you that matters not Tim leatherman .

I, too, buy Leathermen only on deep discount, but not for political reasons (big cheapskate here). :)

Still, in a world where 99.8% of retail goods are made in China or some other country with problematic politics, there has to be a better reason to boycott stuff than some CEO endorsing a presidential candidate you don't like and who lost anyway (some of that gasoline in your tank might be from Iran  )

I've been EDC-ing a Blast for about 16 months and sometimes wish it also had an awl on it, but then I also often carry a Victorinox Pioneer or Soldier SAK that, IMO, has what's perhaps the best folding awl I've seen. (I alternate either one of those SAKs with a Tinker, but the Tinker's awl, folding out the backside of the knife, is a little less convenient for me to use).

I would like to see a decent extension bit for the driver bits and for them to go with a square or hex drive to reduce one of the dimentions. Lots of screws are countersunk these days and the LM drivers are useless in that situation. I mentioned it at SHOT but it fell on deaf ears.

A decent lanyard attachment. The ST200's is fine, but the one on the newer Leathermans is unusable. The new locks, the redesigned pliers, and other options are very well thought out. Don't know what happened with the lanyard attachment:confused:

Really? Where? I'd love to be able to adjust my Surge, or maybe even swap that stupid eyeglass driver for a longer reach philips scavenged from another tool.

You can get the bit from any hardware store.

I just bought a Juice Pro today (hence my being on this forum) and the first thing I thought was they could have done better than taking up three slots for the sommelier tools. I think a saw blade and a can opener would have been better options.
