What (or is it which) Whisky should I try next?

The Highland Park (HP) was a great recommendation. Last night I tried this one. I like it very much. As for some feedback: I can say that the taste (for me) is a bit like the Talisker only less pronounced in every department. Unlike the Talisker the HP seems to profit from a small drop of water added. The HP is a "keeper" for sure:thumbup:

Tonight I'll drink a few more to celebrate the weekend!

Slainte........

Any comments on these, they're stocked at my liquor store and in my price range?

I prefer The Macallan. The Macallan has the best flavor(s) of all the scotches that I have tried. The 12 year old is nice, but the 18 is better.

I'll second Gatorzingo.

However, I also like the Laphroig and the Balvenie (doublewood is excellent).

As good as the MacAllan is...you must also enjoy OTHER single malts!

Hey there Captain Blasphemer!!!!. . . Try Woodford Reserve Bourbon and your world will be changed forever!!!!. . . . If you don't like it, feel free to bring the remainder of your bottle to BLADE '07 and I will personally demonstrate the proper drinking technique that is required to enjoy bourbon!!!! . . . . See, I'm a giver. . . it's what I do!!!

Jerry, I bought a bottle of the Woodford Reserve Bourbon this past weekend based on your recomendation. Very Good!

It helped take the edge off of a bitter weekend spent with my In-laws....

Hey CF, I'd go with Laphroaig from that list, but I haven't checked out the Balvenie (double wood).....yet.
