What other hobbies are you guys into besides knife collecting/using? I myself enjoy axe restoration, wood working, guns and martial arts. TFS

Aside from knives there's music, reading, writing, guns, hunting, fishing, fountain pens and inks, straight razor shaving...

Motorcycles, and I just took my non restricted gun course so when I get my firearms licence I will be getting into guns, the whole process takes about 4 months up here in Canada.

I have a lot of hobbies, all of which are expensive unfortunately. The best thing is that they're probably shared by most folks here. Expensive craft beer, cigars, guns, cars, video games, camping, and spending time with my wife and friends. Life is good.

You mean there are other things in life besides knives?
Ha ha just kidding. I also like guns, and electric guitars. :)

Mainly spending time with my family but guns, shooting pool and billiards, creating die cut vinyl decals, and xbox360.

I like shooting, playing a little video games, and reading about physics even though my small brain doesn't absorb most of the information. I have also played guitar for around 15 years. Knives are Number 2 on that list but only because of the guitar, this is my ultimate.

I do nothing in my free time except sharpen knives and flip my flippers...
Don't you guys?

No, just kidding.
I play guitar, mainly blues music. I'm not in a band or anything, and don't plan to be. I just enjoy music. I'm kind of a music junkie, I listen to all kinds of music, pretty much everything except rap, hip hop, pop, or any of that crap that 16 year olds listen to now.

I'm a fan of craft beer, and go to local beer festivals from time to time. I enjoy fine Bourbons, Armagnacs, and Cognacs. I also have guns too.

Shooting, reloading, telescopes, antique hunting with the wife, gardening and maintaining/using a 20,000 gallon swimming pool.

Hiking, backpacking, video games (including frequent maintenance and upgrades to my PC), watching EVERY good show on TV, and guns. Though the guns are more of a casual interest than a hobby these days, it's been at least six months since I've been to the range, probably longer.

These days I don't have much free time for any of my hobbies though, I just started a full time job and I'm still writing my master's thesis. In a month or so that should all be over though, fingers crossed.

I'm interested to see if reality matches my stereotypes/assumptions about BF users - I figure we're going to see a lot of the outdoors, cars/motorcycles, watch collecting, and shooting crowds.

Music, I can't play(I've tried), but god, I probably spend more money on cd's than anything else. I listen to a little bit of almost everything. I also do a lot of fishing. I got a kayak last year, so I can't wait to start hitting the lakes again.
So to sum it up music, knives, and fishing in no particular order. Actually music would probably be number one.
I used to draw a lot, but than I laid off the speed.

Hunting, fishing, camping. I have a smallish coin collection, small stamp collection .
I guess I've tried collecting quite a few thing in the past. Also a large collection of children!
Hobbies for me seem to come and go- I've been semi-collector/ knife carry since my 1st blade at 10ish.
Currently into an attempt at making knife from a file. I've repaired, modified and destroyed plenty of knives, and I'd say really into an attempt to actually making them. This is a pretty pricy hobby making them so I figured I'd start by making a couple by hand to see if I hang with it before really putting some money down for tools, grinders etc..boy I have a ton of tools, just not so many for knife making!
The wife says I'm a tool collector too!

FYI: General Knife Discussion is for discussing knives, other hobbies are not included into the theme or purpose of this section. Please make an effort to look around and find the forum that best fits the topic. This one is not a catch all for random musings or off topic discussions. :)

Buckle up, off we go to Community.

I have many. But they, by definition, have nothing to do with knives or general knife discussion.

But since we are moving, I have been getting into amateur radio of late.

My wife messes with me sometimes. I have several hobbies that I cycle through. I'm a competitive bodybuilder and I work in LE. I like guns and I'm having a custom 50 cal rifle being built for me by a local company. I love aquariums and fish. I'm also into trucks and have a lifted 500hp diesel truck. So knives, guns, bodybuilding, aquariums, truck stuff... oh... watches... but I've only got two... looking at a new Bulova that I like. Oh and "prepping" stuff. I have an assortment of gold and silver coins, Emergency foods, all that stuff... all the vehicles have emergency bags and trauma kits

I enjoy target shooting, playing at amateur gunsmith for my personal guns and hiking, bush-craft, and general survival skills I guess you could almost say I'm *gasp* a little bit of a prepper. Not the "the guberment zombie gungrabbers are coming" more of the I live in an area that has natural disasters and would be a big hotbed for civil unrest.
