Probably beaten to death I'm sure..

Workers: CS/ESEE

Folders: Spyderco/Kershaw

Collect: Puma

Workers I'd phrase as your goto knives for outdoor tasks or carry options..
Folders are just that, an edc when a fixed is not practical or a necessity.
Collectors, typically they're something that continue to appreciate or are simply sentimental.. (which I have a few of in both guns and knives, only worth something to me:D)

Fixed - Fallkniven F1; Swamprat HRLM, RMD, Ratweiler Chopper, Swamp Warden; ESEE Izula

Folders - Spyderco Delica (early version), Endura, Military (CF-Bg42), Lava; CRK Sebenza (small classic and large regular), Umnumzaan; BM 5000, mini-stryker; ZT 0300; In December HEST/F LE

Collect - Nothing everything is used and ready for use.

Other than the ESEE line-up I also have and use: Several Spyderco folders and a Blackhawk folder.

Fixed EDC: IZULA, vertical belt carry or neck, depends where I'm going

Folder EDC: SOG Flash II always with me in front right pocket

Also got my RC-4 for when I'm camping

I don't collect much besides some swiss army knives, even those get used a fair amount though for firestarting.

Chris Reeve and Spyderco for folders. although i am thinking of trying an Emerson.

for fixed blades i use ESEE :D

In order of use as of late

Fixed: Bark River, ESEE (might be moving up to one soon), TOPS
Folder: Emerson Commander (EDC), Sypderco Wegner (Khaki pants or when hiking),

If the HEST/F works for me as a daily carry better than the Emerson I'll replace it

I'm a big fan of the older Swap Rat Blades with res c and the Scrap Yard Blades. Loving Koyote's blades too...have a great EDC by him, a bushcraft leuku and 2 big 'uns coming soon!

Spyderco Delica, for running and biking
Buck/Strider 889, for carry around the house and general (ab)use
Surefire Delta folder, for daily/on-duty carry
Esee Izula, on-duty carry
Gerber 06 auto, on-duty carry

Kitchen: Victorinox, Heinkels and one custom LeBlanc.

Garage/household utility: some hi-viz orange Superknives i found locally on clearance. very nice folding utility knives.

EDC folder: currently a ZT 0200, previously, Benchmade AFCK, Buck Strider Tarini, Spyderco Delica and Endura and going way back some various Victorinox.

EDC multitool: Leatherman micra on keys and have a few Leatherman Sideclips. have a few other Leatherman tools that don't get carried or used as much as the Sideclips.

other stuff: old discontinued Benchmade fixed blades ( Delta Raider and Kuma Zune), Becker Brute, Gerber LMF, Blackjack HALO.

customs from: SGT Blades, LeBlank, D Farmer, GL Drew..

waiting on: a JK scandi bushcrafter, LE HEST/F.
looking for: a Landi Bushcrafter, Blind Horse Bushcrafter without the fisheye pins (all brass) and a few other things. planning on adding some Fiddleback or Bark River stuff too.

gotta order some ESEE goodness when i can fit it in the budget.

Fixed non esee workers: kabar short, grohmann boat knife, Mora clipper, seal pup elite.

Folding worker endura 4 and alox sak soldier

If I know I'm gonna be batoning, I want my Kabar Heavy Bowie. That's a GREAT handle for the job. Oh, and the rest of it ain't bad either!

My fixed blade/folder ratio is about 90/10

Fixed blades: Bark River, Swamp Rat, Kabar

Folders: Kershaw, Spyderco (soon to be HEST/F!!!!!!!!!!), victorinox

Leatherman tools

If it's sharp and good steel, I'll put it in my pocket. Anything from buck to benchmade for folders. I love gerber ez outs as a beater work knife you don't have to give a damn about.

I use buck fixed blades as food prep knives while camping. Kabars are what I'll have if I'm not carrying rowen steel

I like to keep it simple.

Fixed: Blind Horse Knives (GREAT knives), Ranger RD-6 (pre-Ontario), old Ontario RAT-3
Folders: Ritter Mini-Grip, Great Eastern Cutlery, Old Bucks

I also have a couple old Dexters that see a lot of use around the kitchen and in cleaning fish.

I only own one folder (and non brand) - a spyperco military LH - and it's gonna be sold ASAP when I hear the my HEST folder is on its way. (# 67)

don't trust folders, have all fixed blades, sold all other fixed blades after I found this brand - the warranty above all others - and the people behind it.
