What other knives do ESEE fans use?

Kershaw assisted folders, few Bucks, Case. Just really got interested in knives a little bit since starting to buy ESEEs. Been eyeballing some Blind Horse and a few customs and semi-customs as of late.

I just got rid of a bunch of my cheaper knives, gave them away to friends.

For fixed blades I use Esee, Ka-bar, I have CKRT Stinger that I like and a Kuhkri from HI.

The only folders that I kept were a large Benchmade and a worker Spyderco.

Fixed blade: Bark River, Fallkniven
Folder: Buck 110, Buck 300 series (Old ones flat grind), Case ,German Eye Brand ,Queen ocasionally.

i use a spyderco delica 4 for M-F in the office

i used to use a benchmade griptillian on the weekends, but since i got my izula 2 weeks ago that replaced the BM.

i have a few other knives, but these are the ones that i routinely use.

CRK, Busse, Benchmade, Spyderco, Kershaw, Scrap Yard, Swamp Rat, Victorinox, Case, and a few others.

One of my Randalls is going to be put through the paces this fall as well as a all purpose hunting knife.

Didnt we just do this? Or was that another forum?

Anyway:

Folders: Spyderco, Victorinox

Fixed: Becker, & KABAR

Fixed: Bark River Bravo-1 and Gunny; Fallkiniven F1, Buck 119

Folders: Benchmade, Lonewolf, Combat Elite, Emerson

When I'm not carrying my ESEE-3, with the sharpened clip point, I use something from Spyderco. In the office it is a Lava or Barong. When out on field days it is a Barong or Military. Sometimes I carry my Blackhawk Kalista too...

Workers: If not ESEE then Bark River

Folders: CRK, Hinderer, Spyderco and the occasional Benchmade

Collect: CRK

Koster Bushcrafter is a nice blade
Also Bark River Liten Bror, Aurora & Bravo 1 have worked well outdoors.

I don't even use my RC-4, it's in my bug out bag with an LM Juice S4. I do think it being on BOB duty is a credit to how much I trust it to perform under the worst conditions.

Fixed: Skookum Bush Tool Mk1 in CPM3V is my "go to" outdoors knife. I also, from time to time, use IJ puukkos and Woodsknife puukkos from Finland paired up with a folding saw or an axe. I simply like knives with the scandi grind, and with no choil or guard getting in my way better than the choil and flat ground style that predominates the ESEE line up.

Folders: Benchmade 610 is the usual EDC, paired with an alox SAK Farmer. I have also carried an Al Mar SERE 2000, a Benchmade Mini-Rukus Auto, a Buck 419, a custom Buck 110FG in BG-42 with nickel bolsters and jigged Asian water buffalo horn scales, a CRK Classic Sebenza, Spyderco Enduras of many different varieties, and a universe of SAKs and Leatherman tools.

In a maritime environment, my EDC is currently a Spyderco Pacific Salt in H1, and if I carry a fixed blade, it is a Spyderco Aqua Salt. Both are done in incorruptible H1 steel.

Other Work knives are most commonly a Mora. If i need a big chopper I have a nice Becker Bk9.

Folding/EDC are Victorinox, Boker, Byrd, Leatherman

Mostly Spyderco and Kershaw in the folder category and Ranger, Becker and Ka-Bar in the fixed category. I also carry a Victorinox with me at all times, though it hardly ever does any cutting...^^
