According to wikipedia, the military specification for 550 paracord is a minimum break strength of 550 lbs. I'd call 520 within error of the measurement.

According to the site, paracord is specified by MIL-C-5040H. Type III; 550 paracord.

I checked 3 Dollar Tree stores with no luck. I`m going to talk to my son in law who drives a semi for U. S. Express. They make the deliveries to Dollar Tree. I`ll see if he knows what stores might have some.
