What Post Apocalyptic Vehicle ?

Kawasaki KLR 650 would be nice to have.

I agree; great bike. I have, and prefer, a Suzuki DR650. Fits me better. The KLR is a tad too tall and bulky for me get everything out of it. It is amazing how much you can cram on one of those two cycles and where they will take you on a little bit of fuel.

Come on, guys. Can't believe we're four pages into this and I have to post this for you.

There is only one vehicle for the post-apocalyptic world:

Already got my old Early Bronco. All old school with lots of parts availability. I'll be rocking that...unless I can get in on an armory raid and score an up-armored hummvee. I even have a box of flat spray paint to subdue the Bronco, never hurts to plan ahead, right?

In terms of a post-apocalyptic ride, I'm thinking this sort of thing might work for me:

All the best,

Uparmored Humvee would be ideal except for the gas needs not being super common as regular unleaded. complete armored and bullet proof and sealable, hood mounted radiator so no damage to it when you run over shit. Possibility of mounting anything from a 240B, Mk19 or M2 on top...however keeping the roof sealed and just running would be better. However not good on gas

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon or modded jeep with hard top. Somewhere in the 34" tire range with Warn bumpers to protect from impacts. Winch for recovery and such. I perfer a soft top but not good in a zombie enviroment......

Heres mine, been in the family 30+ yrs, passed it on to my son--tough little rig-68 with 289 ci-He completely redid it----
