As a "Knife Thrower" the RC-5 is the right weight and almost the right length to throw.. 1 OZ. per inch is the the ideal weight... from that you can throw with no spin up to 25' (depending on your skill) .
But I don't think, even though the knife can take it you should.
e.i :
1.> it will mess up the fitted handles
2.> it will beat up the edged:barf:
3.> it will piss off the RAT guys when you send it back:grumpy:
If needed it will throw in a last ditch effort...
but at that distance as your only tool... why throw it?
don't get a tomahawk get some cheap Coldsteel made throwers,
I have hacked threw concrete with them but as a good knife they suck.
just my thoughts.
