Here are a few of the recent offering from our local makers that have sparked my interest.......

I REALLY like this one from Koyote, wish he'd stop coming up with these cool designs !

I have several of Johns knives with the Red scales, My Hatchet has that handle too. Which JK is that?

John's scandi. Can't wait to work it over.

If it works out ,like I think it will, John's Michigan Trail Knife looks like a good candidate for a scandi edge.

I want the ATAX soon, but $$$ issues right now mean that will be in late summer next year.

Other than that i'm drowning in knives right now....dont really need anymore.

Breeden Dal Deweese styled knife.

Great eastern cutlery folder in 440c, forgot it's name.

Breeden Kelly knife.

SDS Camp knife.

These desgins that I drew on paper are driving me crazy.

Bushman5. You are a honest man sir.:D How many of us are in that boat? There is no way that I could live long enough to put any noticeable wear and tear on half of the knives that I already have.:o

I'd like to try the Folts Minimalist. For its low price, there's no compelling reason not to get one.

I also wouldn't mind a Snow & Neally Hudson Bay axe.

Oh - and then there's the Condor golok . . .

I was also thinking of getting a new foil. It is ironic that I don't have one right now!

You really like those big beefy knives, eh Pitdog?

Looks like you could chop through a steel bar with most of those blades!

I like the looks of the Bark River Liten Bror, and I've asked Santa for a Benchmade Rift and/or mini-Barage.

Other than that, I've been paring down my knives somewhat - I've let go of several that just never quite suited my tastes.

I think the next year may bring a Condor golok, but I'm going to try to control my spending (operative word is try...)

This one by Bruce Culbertson really caught my eye last week.

nothing really.....

A couple fiddleback designs......Arent really in the market for any new steel though.

I would really like a long look at Bob doziers Bushcraft in D-2 when it hits the market.

Two I've got my eye on, that Breeden Deweese pattern, and the Fiddleback KPH:thumbup:

Did you read my thread in Stomper's forum about how I had a dream about his Michigan Trail Knife with a Scandi edge? I've already got it one ordered provided the proto works well enough for John to want to make one.
