What`s Up?

I spent most of the day today shopping for a new washing machine. Finally decided on one and just finished installing it after supper. Our old washer was 12 years old and just went out Monday. It didn't give any warning signs except for that loud banging/metal grinding racket when it went out. Luckily, the load of laundry in it at the time did finish. Otherwise, my wife would have been really upset.

School has been kicking my butt, don't have much free time lately. Have two (hard)tests next week, so this weekend is gone to that. Stressing out over paperwork from the .gov that I need for a certification. I hope I get it in time, otherwise I'll be blowing $1100 down the drain and set myself back six months. Then again by the time I get it, I might not have the time to study for the certification. Good news is that I am getting some progress done on "handling" my JK Pocketmuk. Looking forward to Spring Break, even though I'll probably the same amount of work.

What`s everyone been up to? It`s been kind of quiet here, except for the knife contest voting, that`s going well. For me, it`s been good news / bad news. I`ve been waiting for two weeks for payment for three different knives. Even after they all insisted they wanted them, they are sitting here waiting on payment. I really wish that people would at least have the courtesy to reply to my emails, I don`t care if they decided they don`t want them, I can probably resell them, but at least be man enough to let me know.
Now the good news. My oldest daughter and her family are not moving to Florida! More good news is that Connie had her first party on Sunday, and it went really well.
So, how is everyone else doing?

Awesome - how did the party go? Did I already see some pictures?

I have been very busy. I recently took over the leadership of a team of 18 DBAs for a large corporation, and man is that a full time job and a half!

I just finished a meeting with 4 of my team who are on the other side of the globe (my team is a worldwide team).

I stay plenty busy anymore.
