Despite recently buying a OHO Vic, imo that is the better blade design on the big models. Throw in a side lock and I’m one happy camper. lol

I've often wondered why it's rounded over... It is good for spreading vegemite.From the pic, I assume the Australian Navy doesn't trust sailors to have pointy knife blades?
I'd assume they are rounded because things can get a little unbalanced on the boat and in that kind of situation you really don't want to have pointy knife flying around the deck.I've often wondered why it's rounded over... It is good for spreading vegemite.

Lee, I bought my first SAK, a Small Tinker, in 1989. I carried it exclusively for at least 8 years, then splitting time with an Old Timer. Never had the need for anything else so I get it.
