What SAK are ya totin' today?

So long story short 15 years ago I was in the market for a new work knife because I lost my old knife. I ended up buying the Huntsman in this photo. 5 years ago while whistling foxes at a favourite tree I noticed my old knife in the dirt it was in pretty sad condition. So today while cleaning out my shed, because we are moving home, I found the 108mm Solo on a shelf. I think when things settle down ill give it a makeover.

Credit to victorinox. 10 years in the elements and the blade was near as good as when I lost it.

Dan, how many times do you think you were within 10 feet of that knife during its 10 year absence?

Probably every other weekend from April to September each year. I lived and worked in Ireland for 6 months of the year back then. I bought the Huntsman with my "frequent flyer miles" earned from Etihad Airlines. For the first five years it was missing it was regularly visited then I came back to Australia full time as a married man with a young fella soon to born i only got out to our family farm once a month in winter. So doing some basic maths at least 80 times 🤣😂.
