SAK Cadet Alox.....my first Alox [emoji4]

Nice one! A cadet is still on my list :)

Day in and day out it's the orange Farmer... Sometimes the Pioneer - with either I'm ready for anything in my daily adventures!

Chilly and rainy here for the last couple days. Toting my Elinox Electrician. My favorite Vic model of choice.

Merry Christmas guys!

Why is it your favorite?

I find the alox scales to be pretty much bullet proof, and like them much better than the plastic ones. I like the second small blade the electrician brings. In my entire life, I've never needed the SAK can opener on there, and the small flat head is next to useless to me. And should I ever need into a soup can that bad, I can get into it with the knife blade or whatever I find.

And I have used the larger flat head, bottle opener, and awl at one time or another. It's just the right size in hand as well. And alox is just addictive. Lol. Ask SAK Guy.....

I'm also always accompanied by a Vic Minichamp clipped to a single AAA light. So I consider I'm pretty well set for almost any ordinary tasks while out wandering around when someone leaves the door unlocked at "The Home". ;)

And there's the Swisstool in my pickup console as well. Further afield, hunting, or what have you, a fixed blade is usually added as well. And a small hatchet to get thru the pelvis.

***Thanks Robert, be well my friend!

I only ask because I thought seriously about getting the Electrician. Most wrote that it was redundant. I was also swayed because I like the black scales of the Alox Pioneer. I may have to get an electrician to try out though.

I should be getting a Mini Champ (alox) in the mail today.

Thanks for your comments!

Thanks SG!!

Joe, love my OC electrician also but I find I do use the can opener often on Phillips screws, oddly never the can opener, which is why the soilder/pioneer is always the go to.

To each his own!!
