What SAK you always want BUT...

I have always wanted a nice Swiss army knife, So I finally found one at a discount store I got a victorinox swisschamp xlt brand new for $40 bucks and I love it.

Decades ago, I got a Swisschamp, which both then and now seemed to me the ultimate Swiss Army Knife. Later, I was looking to replace a worn out sheath and found one bundled with a Tinker on a clearance sale, less than the sheath itself would have cost. In time I grew to appreciate the Tinker, which earned its place in the EDC rotation. Then, I lucked into a Rambler, now permanently attached to a Micro light and always with me no matter what else I'm packing on a given day. Most recently (2008), I made acquaintance of the OH Trekker, was sold on the spot. Lately, it has been just about my most used SAK. Frankly, I think these Vics are best of breed in each of their size categories and so I jones for no other SAK.

My apologies for my un-EDCer attitude on this matter.

a swisstool is what that is missing.
its because i have an existing horde of multitools that would probably outlast me.

I have all the Vics i could want however i've always wanted a Huntsman or Swisschamp with those Stag scales that vic offered way back when.
Of course a list of modded/custom SAKs would be another list entirely!

A special edition black Waiter SAK. Somehow, that classic red color doesn't do it for me..

The Executive has been my EDC knife since 1976... bought a red one at a store in Fort Bragg NC while visiting a friend... evenutally lost it, and immediately bought a black one, and keep an extra for backup.

For me, it's a black Executive. Don't know why, but I've never gotten around to getting one.

An affordable First Mate. I do quite a bit of knot tying, and that sacking needle would bestill my quiverin' heart! Unfortunately, I won't pay that much for one...

I'd like to have a executive, but without the dumb orange peeler, and a combo tool in place of it.
