What screws are best for removable handles?

Yep Daniel, those are the ones.
Only I don't use the shoulder screw.
I use the Truss Head machine screw PN 99637A294
I buy the barrels long enough to go through both slabs, and the blade, and just use the matching screw on the other side.
The barrel locates everything, and the screw tightens them up.
You may have to grind a bit off the length of the barrel to keep it below the other surface, but so what...
When assembled, they are field serviceable anywhere in the world.

Which barrel do you use?
 
I use either barrel # 99637A183 or 99637A18 depending on the stack thickness (you correctly posted the barrel Pic)
Screw # 99637A294

It is a perfect match for the head on the barrel.
So are the shoulder screws you posted though, but it would take a seriously thick stack to get that shoulder and the barrel in the knife...
