No, blade play will never develop in a properly assembled.........I can completely unscrew my pivot pin and it still doesn't have blade play.

I use to own a large sebenza 21, sold that and recently ordered a small. These knives IMO are really functional with their size and blade shape to use on everyday tasks.

I have a few. Large Classic, large Insingo, small Classic, small Insingo. The small Insingo gets the most use. Removed the clip and it rides in my right front pocket. Get's used for everything including scraping paint off baseboards, and even cut through lamp cord when I was stuck on a ladder with no cutters and holding a light in one hand.
