What Sebenza do you carry?

My favorite is a small stars and stripes silver contrast with the double thumblug, S30V blade. I have lots of other sebbies but this one is the one I like to carry.

Small left-handed S30V regular every day but if we go for a walk in the woods or other outdoorsy stuff I carry my large double studded lefhanded classic in a CRK pouch.

My main CRK EDC is my large classic mm sebi (6-50) with BG-42 blade. I Have fitted the newer clip also. Mostly in the G2 sheath!
:)

At present I am not carrying my small wood Damascus, not for any reason than I am wanting a SS damascus blade for my large and everytime I look at my small it makes me want another Damascus blade and I can't afford one at the moment...:(

Agony!:p

As a relatively new Sebenza owner, it would be my large Wood Inlaid Classic, with S30V. I'm still getting used to it. Mostly, I have to get used to the idea of actually carrying it instead of leaving it in my knife drawer. ;) geegee

I carry my Christmas gift, a small 2 High Mix Sebenza. I have carried her for almost a month now and I'm really starting to appreciate how wonderful she is :D I have owned a Seb in the past but it wasn't bright n' shiny like this one!

I carry the only one I own....
Small Classic BG42. Starting to get some neat "character marks".

weekdays: small classic, silverthumstud, and spacer
weekends: Large classic wood inlay
work: large classic, currently in for custom design

Daily use; …Umfaan- BG-42 Aztec design. Just came back from a CRK refurbishing-sharpened and new Thumb-lugs.

Special occasions; …Small 2001 Wood Inlay- BG-42. Curly Maple- Double Thumb lugs.

I carry them in their leather pouch and in my left front pocket.

My small box elder inlay is clipped to my pocket daily, one of these days i will use my small plain regular

Large Plain with S30V blade, horizontal sheath carry but occasionally clipped, depends on what sheath I'm working on next.

I do have a small wood inlay classic in mind but the large is really pretty handy! I was cutting up an orange today at break time and thought...hmm would a small Sebbie be able to slice clean through? Probably with extra cuts but not in one fell swoop but that probably doesn't really matter as long as it is cut. But lately, my flavour has gone to the Larger Sebenza!

I was also cutting some of that REAL hard plastic packaging that stuff comes in and felt a lot more secure cutting through that with the Sebenza than with my BM941 that I usually brag about, while the 941 is a very nice knife, the Sebenza has more overall brawn and cut through without a worry, more like using a fixed blade knife actually!

Though a wharncliffish type blade would have been nicer, wouldn't have run out of cutting surface as soon...that curved tip is great for food prep but when slicing through stuff it can run off and can get you in trouble...so I do prefer a more straight edge when cutting.

Same small plain that I've been carrying for 3 years..talk about commitment! My mnandi shares some of the carry time, but its at CRK at the moment. I just had dual thumbstuds installed and I kind of regret getting it. It gets in the way more than it helps. Guess I was too used to the single stud.

I was carrying a large regular, but then I got a great deal on a small plain in S30V and started carrying that instead.

Today though my large classic w/ leather inlay's landed, and that will be my regular carry.

Got a great deal on it too. Large classic, LNIB, brown leather inlay's, dual thumbstuds, box & papers, with a really nice leather sheath, for $290 shipped :D

Dont carry the Sebbie anymore.

afraid I would scratch it! I know it can take it, and is a user not a prima donna knife, but it just is too pretty to risk it.

I am a wuss.

I carry every days my Small serrated Sebenza clipped in the front right pocket. It is my only Sebenza... :(

But I think I will remedy to this situation in 2003 : I just have to save a few money more (with taxes (importation...ect) an American knife cost 30% more in France  ) and I will order a large Sebenza !

Your English is fine! and you could always get a used knife, then you will not have to pay the conversion and taxes etc.

Here's one for you.
When Chris was helping us develop S30V, we made the first initial formulation (changed later to improve properties)and Chris made 4 knives out of it. I've had that knife with the initial chemistry for about 3 years and wouldn't give it up. Chris offered to replace the blade with the improved S30V but it's hard giving up a piece of history. Besides the initial chemistry cuts well too.
So what's 1 of 4 small classic sebenza's with first run S30V (never to be made again) worth? To me, priceless.

GigOne, thanks for the link to your pics. Beautiful!

G2 said "Though a wharncliffish type blade would have been nicer..."
Somehow I get the feeling that G2 is lobbying for Chris to offer a wharncliff blade.:) :D

Large regular plain vanilla for me, years of use and abuse and it still looks/works as good as new!
