What sets Spyderco Knives Apart??

1. Ergonomics.
2. Ergonomics.
3. Ergonomics.

Everything about them is designed to fit the hand while the hand is holding a knife. Even the hole in the blade is more comfortable to use than thumbstuds. Choils are in the right position, jimping is always in the right spot, handle shape conforms to palm shape. After you get past the ergonomics, you can get in to materials, build, finish and design. But the first three things that set Spyderco knives apart is Ergonomics.

Others have said it better ... +1 for Sal

OP,

Since you're into fix blade, try Southfork.
I'd recommend Bradley Folder too.

Their quality is amazing, their support is amazing, their morals are great. What else do you want me to say? Also they're dependable.

They have a knife nutty founder who is actively engaged and excited about knives to this day.

Beautiful conceptual and pragmatic approach to knife design

Wonderful all accommodating business model i.e. factory sourcing in the U.S., China, Japan and Taiwan to allow for the broadest range of purchase options for its customers.

Just wondering what sets Spyderco Knives apart from other knives. Can Spyderco fans name three things that set them apart ??? Just curious.

1. Spyderhole
2. SpyderEdge (serrated)
3. Long term business experience in the knife industry. Knives have good designs, steels, and tremendous variety of shapes and sizes.
