It's that time of year again where I think knives are awesome and have a little bit of flexible cash. Just got a ZT 0095BW and a Contego in the mail and loving it, already thinking about my next one. What should I look into? What else is cool, new and exciting? Here's my general tastes, knives that I have and have been with me a while:

Adamas
Military
Sebenza
ZT 0630

And stuff I've been interested in lately are the Kershaw Launch 5, another Emerson Commander, an XM-18, Spyderco Police 3, or a Benchmade Bedlam.

So just throw them out there! I like sharp shiny things that look cool, are comfortable in the hand, and are fun to play with

I'd say the Brad Southard AVO...it's been my favorite folder (only EDC) for over 1 1/2 yrs now, and I've tried a whole lot of nice folders.

Everyone should have either a Strider SnG or SMF they are hands down some of the best designed knives ever made.

either the protech tr5(when it becomes available again) or maybe a southern grind spider monkey(spectacular knife btw)

Check out Ferrum Forge.
They make some of the smoothest flippers I've ever touched, and there's usually one of them in my pocket.

The new "Arch Bishop's" are at dealers now (KnifeCenter, BladeHQ), and FF "Scepters" are coming later this month.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

And when you do, we need pix! :D

Playing with my Contego while looking up tracking.... my new Bedlam should be here thursday. Found one I couldn't pass up- a black blade, plain edge non automatic! That configuration doesn't even exist! The previous owner had a black serrated, and got it swapped from BM for a black plain edge. Benchmade even told me a few days ago they wouldn't do that, but I found out yesterday that they will and they have! Grail achieved

I'll say XM-24.
I have the XM-18, and it's a great knife.
I also have the Zero Tolerance 0561--which is more XM-24 sized--and it fits my hand even better.

If you can swing the extra cash, I say go for the XM-24.
