What should I do with $200?

Buy a knife for 100 $ and take your family to a good, a very good restaurant... She won´t kill you after that great evening (I hope)

Kind regards

You mentioned wanting a MOLLE pack. Well, Spec-Ops has their excellent (US-made) T.H.E. Pack for $100 right now in a couple different colors. If you don't mind buying a Chinese-sewn pack, a Kelty Peregrine 1800 run $70, or the Maxpedition Condor-II go for ~ $100 - Check Google.

After picking up a pack for $100, that would leave you $100 to spend on knives and other gear.

Spyderco Delica FFG (in a variety of colors) run around $50-ish.
Buck Vantage Pro S30V ~ $50-55.
Ontario RAT-1 folder ~ $30+.
Kershaw Skyline ~ $35-40.
A Victorinox Camper/Hiker ~ $20-ish.

You could pick up any combo of the knives above (as well as various others) totally $50-60, and then get an Adventure Medical Kit Escape Bivvy ($40 shipped) to put in your new $100 backpack...

In Miami a very exquisite restaurant will run you $100 dollars a plate. Plus, forget the wife. It's MY money. Lol

Ok, seems to be a pretty expensive place. Another thing, buy a 100 $ knife and go to a bar with a good friend and have some beer and a cigar...

Kind regards

lol thanks for the help guys! ive decided NOT to buy a knife. the wife will kill me. shes willing to let me get a good BOB bag. can anyone recommend a decent 3 day pack?

Darn it, get a decent BOB for $150 and drop a nice $50 Spyderco into one of the pockets. Everybody's gotta have a knife.

The Eagle Industries A-III is another well-made pack to consider. The ones you find online, are sewn in the Dominican Republic. I have one, they are nice packs. They run $100-120 shipped if you look around...

The US-made Tactical Assault Gear 3-Day pack is another excellent choice.. They are a few on Ebay in a khaki green color for about $100-$110-ish. Their Chaos pack is essentially the same thing. They come in a variety of colors, but it lack the PALS webbing on the outside that the 3-Day variant has. It's still an excellent pack. They are $120-ish.

Another really superb pack is the ATS Tactical RAID II pack. USA-made, built like a tank, and covered in PALS webbing (to attach MOLLE pouches). They are $180-200 in various colors..
