What should I get for my first CRK?

By what you currently carry I would say you'd like the plain or micarta large 21. However, if you want to try something different then try the small. It's a great EDC and I find that it is a very capable knife.

I'd start with a Lg 21 as it is "the" Sebenza. I am also very fond of the Sm Sebbies but the Lg is the one to get. From there, you can decide if you want to go smaller, or inlays etc :)

no wright or wrong here. Large or small? more beefy (slightly)? 25 or plain.. then I would suggest a plain (unless you are set with a micarta, wood, etc).
The beauty of the Sebenza IMO is how slim it is so I would go with plain jane

I had the opportunity to handle a few knives last night.

I think the large 21 is going to be my first, actually it already is. Lol. I couldn't resist, man this guy is smooth as butter. I've handled quite a few knives over the years, This is a freakin nice blade. I'm very happy with it.

Thanks to everyone for your comments, as they did help my decision, and likely pushed me forward to actually grab one sooner than. I might have otherwise.

Once the wheels were in motion there was no stopping this train :D

It doesn't matter which you get first, however the first will have a special bond (in my case anyways), because if you love the knife, you will get more.

My first was a small wood inlay (bocote), and I have bought 2 other CRK, but the small bocote is perfect for me.

If you can, visit a store where you can handle them. It will pick you.
