  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What single model for 10 guys?

I would say just a bare bones work horse like the Endura. Easy to use with or without gloves if needed.

I'm on the ocean everyday and this is what I carry on water and land.

I've owned the manix LW and I think the pacific salt is a better knife. Cheap, utilitarian, tough as nails and will never rust. Comes in black and or plain edge version too. I like the se.

rushane,
I'm the person at Spyderco who would provide you with the information/quote. I'd also be happy to make recommendations. I've worked on the Autonomy project since day 1. If you'd like to contact me directly please do. You can reach me via e-mail at khunter@spyderco.com or via phone 800/525-7770.

Thank you for your service to our country. Stay safe.

Kristi

Awesome. Thank you. Now I just have to convince my LT to stick with Spyderco (rank has its privileges).

Awesome job on the Autonomy. I know a few of the swimmers who carry them. That is a solid knife. Some people talk about a knife that they would trust their life to in some sort of fantasy situation. The Autonomy is a knife that is regularly trusted to save others lives on a daily basis.

If you serve on a 87' cutter the pacific salt as in the photo would be my 1st choice and the L/W manix2 a close second choice. Both great knives imho. Thanks for your service ! :)

Bad news (but with a funny addendum) Spyderco fans. The LT had the final word and he really liked the Benchmade Grip. We got them about two weeks ago. Orange handle, black blade. Props to Benchmade, they're good knives, regardless that I pushed hard for the Spydies. Rank-privilege and all that.

Okay, so we got the Grips, they're awesome, but I still wanted a new Spyderco. Picked up a green FFG Delica. I carry it alone when in civvies, and with the Grip when at work. Some others took a liking to it, and now three of them have purchased various Spydercos.

Thanks again, all.
