What size contact wheels?

I'm just starting out and I wanna try biulding my own grinder.
I want to make a vertical platen attachment with a 2" and a 4" wheels but I'm not sure whether to get a 8" or 10" wheel for my other attachment?
I can only really afford one at the moment.

I like the 8" wheel if you can only have one contact wheel. Some folks prefer a 10" wheel, but I like the tighter radius options with the 8. If you are going to make a Caffrey style platen and be able to use the 4" as a contact wheel then you may have more flexibility to use a 10" wheel.

The bigger the better. Really it comes down to what size blades are you making and personal preference.
