what size firesteel for bark river sheath?

I recently picked up a Bark River Fox River which I love. Right now I have the 1/4 inch (scout) firesteel in the sheath, which fits and doesn't feel like it's going to fall out, but it's not that tight either. I noticed that knivesshipfree.com states that the 3/8 inch (army) firesteel is the correct size for the bark river sheaths. I was hoping to clarify which one was correct before I stretched the sheath out with the 3/8 version if it wasn't right.
 
Typically, people like to carry the "Army" sized firesteel (since that is the size BRKT sells) so that is what BRKT sheaths are sized for.
