What size for finger groove sanding drum?

Hello to all. I would like to know what diameter is your grinding wheel for making a finger groove? Thank you in advance – Michael.

There are all sorts of different sized finger grooves. Personally on my small fixed blades I use a 3/4" drun to profile them out, whether it's on my spindle sander or the small wheel on my KMG.

I personally use a 1" when making finger grooves.

I use 3/4" sanding drums on my drill press. Sometimes I believe I use my drill press more for sanding than drilling holes!

depends on the knife, 3/4" or 1." I like 1." Make a Laconico style handle and don't worry about it!

Either 1" or 3/4" on a spindle sander. Depends on the knife. I think it would come down to what feels good to you for your design.
