What size media for bead blasting?????

I am going to bead blast some blades (1095)so I can parkerize them. What type of media should I use, ceramic, glass, AO???? What grit? What about stainless steels (for a mat finish), same media/grit???

What I use is BT-8 glass beads & #150 aluminum oxide mixed 75% gb
to25%AO.It works well for me on stainless steel.If you use something like this prior to parkerizing,make sure to clean the blade good b4.Hope this helps.
