What Size Small Wheel

What size of small wheel do you guys use the most on your small wheel attachment? I was thinking either 1/2" or 3/4".

All of them.


Mostly I'd say 1.5 or 1 3/4 and a smaller one, either 1/2 or 3/4.


Trying to get by with one small wheel is like trying to get by with one round file. With enough patience and skill, you can make any shape with the smallest wheel, but that's usually not remotely practical.


Of course, it depends on what you're using it for. Grinding integrals is a lot different from grinding radiuses for sculpted handles or "finger" grooves.

I just need it to fit into the area where your index finger goes. Between the ricasso and handle. I need it to clean up that steel and rough out the handle material after glue up.
