  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Off Topic What song are you listening to?

In the 80's I saw whitesnake at the LA forum. Great white opened up for them. Unfortunately, Whitesnake sounded horrible live, not sure if they had issues that week. We all wanted Great white to come back out and take over.

But the worst concert ever for me was The Pretenders. Horrible
Best show in a concert though was Dio. Holy diver and last in line where incredible laser shows.

I’m weird but I put on some violin fantasy ambiance music from YouTube that I listen to while reading to give it some cinematic context in my head 😂

Yes I know, strange. But I read much more than I watch TV. I’m only at about 60 books this year and want to hit at least 75-100 before years end

I'm currently listening to Gordon Lightfoot's Greatest Hits.
I know this dates me. Most of you folks are younger than I am.
God bless you. NOTHING wrong with some Gord’s Gold. He was a legend, and I’m not ashamed to admit I shed tears when he died. My son did too (since he was raised on great music) and he’s Gen Z.

There’s no time limit on great songwriting and fantastic musicianship.

I’m still so impressed by the guys who could pull it off - just one guy, his guitar, and his voice. Unplugged before it was even a thing.

Yes, a great loss when he passed. I recently purchased a stack of used CDs, and this was one of them. Listening again today.
I have been making budget audio gear upgrades. Different speakers, wire, CD player, etc. Lightfoot sounds better and better.:)
