What sort of apparatus is more appropriate for Sog's Aus-8A?

Hello again, :D

Thank you in advance for any & all help. I've been wondering for awhile now,
what sort of apparatus would work well for Sog's Aus-8A? My Ka-bar Mule's
blade is Aus-8A & I've had no trouble using the following to keep the edge keen & hair-popping sharp:aluminum-carborundum; diamond-grit (fine, & med);
leatherman surge tool-file; concrete picnic table top; leather boot; nail file.
I can't afford a high-end sharpening system--not my cup of tea anyway. The
Mule's blade, like many of Sog's fixed-blades, is a flat-hollow grind. (I think).
Now unless I lose my mule, I doubt my Sogs will ever see use of any kind. However, I would like to have an idea of what sort of apparatus would be most appropriate. (No need to go by the list of what I've used so far.) i prefer
tools which are small & light, as compact as possible, & simple to use. (I try
very hard to take good care of my equipment.) Also, I'm not sure if the aluminum stone is called carborundum or not--it's alot like those you get with the Rambo knives, Bushmaster, etc--light grey & fine on one side, dark grey & coarse on the other.

Thank you in advance;
Dark Seraphane
P.S.If you're wondering, I only use one knife at a time--which is why my Sogs will not likely see use.
