What sort of watch do you wear?

Want something that you won't hesitate banging onto things and have a heart attack if it falls. Being cheap isn't bad too---G-Shock Dual-face (analog and digi). I forget what model though.

Right now I'm wearing the Omega "James Bond" style chronograph with a blue sharkskin strap.
I would wear the bracelet #1504, but I need another 1/2 link to fit. A pin and bushings, also. If you have one, please let me know.

Thanks, Prof. Ed

Somehow(and this might be blasphemy around these parts), I just don't see the big deal with really expensive and really big, heavy watches. I wear a Seiko titanium that cost me all of $99. That's the most I've ever paid for a watch.

Blaspheme away! (BTW, what did you pay for your last bowie?)

I usually wear my Casio G-Shock 2310B. It's an awesome watch. I also have several Timex watches and a few Fossil watches I use occasionally to mix things up a bit. :D

Usually I wear a Seiko 5 automatic, I also have a Poljot wind-up, a Mido wind-up, a Mido automatic, a Longines automatic, a couple of Citizen eco-drive, and some others including several wind-up pocket watches, they all get some use depending on mood and occasion.

Seiko Black Monster. One of the best deals going in mechanical watches.

I've owned several cheaper (but not super-cheap) watches, and there really is a difference in how it feels and looks on the wrist.

Most days I wear a Citizen Skyhawk Titanium. If I'm travelling or hiking I switch to a Suunto X-Lander.

I personally have allways wanted a TAG, and I was FINALLY able to get myslef one. To me TAG's are the be all and end of watches. I wanted one. I found one that is PERFECT for me; automatic and has a GREEN face. I guess it is just a matter of personal preference. What else can I say?

I wear a Heuer Professional (before Tag Heuer?) quartz, dive watch. I was told it was made in the early '70's, and it was rebuilt in '98. I am currently shopping for the best price on a Fortis B-42 MarineMaster.

For every day/duty use I wear a Marathon TSAR, like this one

For just about every other time one of these,

I wear a Fortis Pilot Professional but an Omega Seamaster has been calling my name.

My most used watch now is the Omega SMP Planet Ocean
22015000.gif

I'm using it almost 24/7 just to see how much of a beating it can take. For now i can hardly get scratches on it other than the one i did myself do to an ill equipped bracelet link adjustment.

Other watches i've been using a lot are
A quartz Tag Heuer i got as a wedding gift. This watch is actually quite a tough watch. It looks a bit beat up now. Just the way i like it.

An analog/digital casio i bought with gift vouchers from my wedding. This is also a tough watch. Although it has the stupidest bracelet adjustment ever. You actually have to cut the rubber to size it. If you make a mistake and cut too short then that's that.

And a new Casio i just bought for the retro looks and the fact that it's solar powered. This is actually a nice cheap watch. I like it 'cos not many people wear it now. Most wear the flashier G-shocks. It's also light and has only the basic functions.
