This question was posed on Spyderco's forum. I thought it was a very interesting question. Which Knifemakers would you like to see a custom collaboration with?

Jody Sampson- Spydie bali!

(or maybe Spydie Connan sword depending on were in jody's career we're discussing!)

I'd be all about the Sampson Spydie bali, that would be just too damn cool

Pat Crawford!!!! I would love to see a production version of the Bob Kasper folder that Pat had on his website. You know, the one that someone posted a pic of here. In the imortal words of Bill Engval "Now, that would be AWESOME!"

Hmmm, excellent question to ponder. I would like to see knife collaborations with the following (not in any particular order):

Leo Gaje
Kelly Worden
Suryadi Jafri

Other custom makers would be nice as well, but I would really like to see the product of the above users combined with the Spyderco.

Vorpal Digits... Kelly Worden, Sounds like a great Candidate for the new Martial Blade Craft line. I too would like to see that.
Also Fred Perrin and Allen Elishewitz.

I would like to see models by Allen Elishewitz and Ernest Emerson.
I also agree with Pelle, a FRN Lum Tanto would be interesting.
Maybe also Greg Lightfoot, could come up with somwthing!

Since a Perrin fixed blade is already in the works, I'll cast my vote for a Dozier folder. Bob is now making some great folders in a number of patterns. IMO, a folding hunter Spyderco collaboration would be awesome!

He who finishes with the most toys wins.

How about a Michael Janich MBC?
or another Walker collaboration?!?!
Lightfoot
Kasper
Carson
Tighe

Geez! I'm getting excited about knives again!!!

A day without Spydies is like a day without ... WELL, Spydies!!!

...for me it depends for the type of knife:

Koiji Hara for a gent's folder
Fred Perrin and Emerson for a tactical
Chris Reeve for a utility framelock
Mike Anso for a small utility fixed blade.

EX ALTO FULGOR

3 inch fixed blade neck knives in utility /semi tactical patterns. Most any maker.
