What Spydercos were just ahead of their time?

Without a doubt, the G-10 handled Standard.

(I have one, but lost the clip).

Every now & then, I hear someone say that Spyderco should come out with a G-10 handled version of the Delica..... Let me put it this way, the Standard was the Delica's less popular twin sister. Basically, Spyderco did make a G-10 handled version of the "Delica;" problem is that so few people bought it, that it got discontinued.:grumpy:

I got one I even like a little more than that one that was way ahead of it's time. The big C-44 Dyad is something I think that knifemakers & knife companies should have done a long time ago. A knife with one great fully serrated blade and one superior plain edged blade. I just don't know why they don't do another design similar to it or design a complete new 2 bladed knife totally re-designed. The Dyad is a double bladed knife that is 100% functional for about every cutting chore imaginable. But it doesn't surprise me that Spyderco was the first company to give us a premium double bladed knife. BRING BACK the C-44 Dyad ( not the little one).

Bingo...........!!! C-44 Dyad....... Hands down......
