Which standard production knife could you get by with for the rest of your life? Which one would you choose? I am going to go with the Paramilitary 2. I know surprise, surprise! Truth is though i carry a Rat1 more than any knife here lately.....

I've had a SAK spartan for 80% of my life. It's the knife I've carried the most and I'd probably still be carrying it if I had not stumbled on the spyderco caly 3. From a utilitarian point of view I still have a hard time choosing between them but from an aesthetic point of view the caly 3 gets the nod.

Oh yeah. A good kitchen knife/ paring knife combo is worth a lot. So if it really was one knife, I might choose one of those over a pocketknife.

I would go with my ZT 0561 or my Hogue ex-01 either of them would be great as a one and only

For me it would be either a Spyderco Military or my Umnumzaan.

got to be a small Sebbie, for me out of box not tinkering it was flawless

That or a Tenacious: ya i know 2 diffent ends of the spectrum but these are the only 2 knives i have EVER owned where iv'e never had the needed to tinker with (pocket clip not counting..... I'ma southpaw:rolleyes:)

I'm going to assume a folder, although I would likely go with a fixed blade if I only chose one knife...for everything.

For a folder, and knowing that sometime it has to do heavy-duty stuff, I'd pick the Spyderco TUFF in CPM3v.
In fixed, probably a SurviveKnives 5" in M390 or 3v.

Without a doubt, my Spyderco Military. A very close second would be a Large Sebenza...
