What states have the best out door fun?

It was seriously humid last time I was in KY. It was near summer, and I was in Louisville, but it was nice and green though. Does it snow there in the winter?
Sometimes but we don't get a lot. A big snow around here is 3~4",people go nuts, buy up all the bread & water LOL . We used to get Big Snows (couple of feet) but nothing like that since the early 90's,Global warming I guess.
Yes it does get humid here in late summer around Aug.

I might have to come back for a visit, as I have family still in Loiusville.

There are trees in Yellowstone and such, but they are very few and far between for a couple hundred miles in every direction. I am used to living in California where there are red woods. Maby I should have said I miss large trees.

Try moving to Gillette. I think they're still hiring LEO, my buddy is LEO there now. It would put you closer to the Bighorns and the Black Hills!
I was stationed in Cheyenne for 5yrs. I hung out in Curt Gowdy or went west.
I really like Rapid City and the Black Hills, I'll probably retire here...unless the military decides I need to move again!!!!!!
