What steel has the sharpest edge? Already have S30V.... want to take it further

In my expierience its not the steel its the skill with which its sharpened. I own blades in AUS8, S30V, D2, 154CM, ELMAX and ZDP189. The only thing that differs between them is how easy they are to sharpen and how long the edge is held. I haven't been overly impressed with the ZDP189. I have the dragonfly 2 in it (great knife BTW). It holds a great edge but is harder to sharpen properly but doesn't seem to retain the edge any better than S30V (Military and ParaMilitary2).
