What steel this knife?

Hi guys.

What steel does the Speed Lock 3000's have. Says Solingen Germany Stainless, but what does that mean? It's pretty hard to sharpen, so I'm thinking it's pretty decent.

That is made of 4034 stainless.
It is a variant of 420.

Don't know what 4034 is, so I'll have to do some research. Hopin' that it'll hold a decent edge.
