What TEMPTS you?

Boy am I glad I live in Ga. Have my knives in 2 display cases in the dining room where I can see them every day. Don't have to worry about a thing. Especially with the 3 dobermans, electrified razor wire, flood lights and motion sensors in the yard and the 16 guage, M-16 semi-auto, 9mm Baretta, and UZI in the gun case and the good ole standby Winchester 30-30 in the window of the pickup.

Plus the deputy sheriff(Buford Pusser)lives next door.

I've read your post over and over again trying to make some sense of it.
You're a poor student. That I can understand.
You feel like you can't afford customs. How much do you think customs cost? My last one cost me $100, that's more than a lot of production knives.
You have to FORCE YOURSELF to like production knives? You either like them or you don't since many of them are designed by very talented custom makers, have you thought that maybe you don't really like knives?
There's nothing wrong with G-10, if that's what YOU like.

Finally, couldn't you find a longer Movie quote as your signature?

Ok - I'll admitt to it too - Stag is the biggest temptation, at least as far as knives go. I have two small fixed blades -a Ted Miller custom from about 15 years back with antler crown handle carved with a sitting eagle - Turquoise inlay for the eye.. and an antler crown short skinner with a wolf's head scrimshawed on the crown.. I've seen the work of this maker before - Cabala's carried them as customs - supposedly made near Branson MO. from old sawmill blades - the blade is engine turned - sheath is a work too- tooled and laced in ladigo... a really sweet piece of work .. but Stag is always a temptation especially on a small fixed blade .. or stockman's pattern.
