Let's add up what we've got so far........

HACK -- nick-name of Dan Busse, known dumpster-diver and Dr. Frankenstein knife designer.

5 1/2" -- same length as the Basic 5.

Same blade shape as the Basic 5. EDC handle shape. Could this have been a B5 prototype? Does the EDC handle predate the Resiprene-C? Did Jerry decide not to go with the EDC and scales on the original B5 to keep the price down?

post #101 -- 101 is the beginning level class in college, going over the basics. Colleges are just starting up this weekend and this is the beginning of a new line from the Wauseon family. 101 may also refer to the use of SR-101, probably stolen during either a limburger diversion or the release of wild cats during the Rat's shift.
