OK INFI Junkies...you've got the swingin' knowledge of those large, workhorse working blades...

What's the concensus? I've seen a handful of threads over the past few months CLAIMING  that the NMFSH is the best Busse chopper EVER

Seems to me that a number of fine B' Mistresses would take great exception to that claim :foot: ...and I got to decide where my hard earned $$$ are gonna go with the upcoming rollout of Anniversary blades...

What are your thoughts folks...(preferably BEFORE you drink...THEN drink)

I'm still thinkin' that at the end of the day, the heavyweights carry the day on the choppin' field -

If I had to go with a single chopper, I'd probably go with a 1 of 300 SHBM. Had a couple over the years and they were sweet choppers. But since they are no longer with me, the NMFSH fits the bill nicely :D

I'd put either of these two up as chop kings ( or queens as it were)

um.... no

the MOAD is the king of the choppers

oh yep what he said....the end!.

I believe the NMFSH could be the single most versatile camp knife...according to the specs is .27, but they came in full 5/16, so they are strong...but I believe they lack of weight at the tip, so I pressume the mistress would be a better choice for chopping because of the lenght and shape.

Still if I had to choose, I´d go for the NMFSH, just because it is a good chopper being an inch shorter. so you can do a lot more things besides chopping with it.

I have never tryied an SHBM, a BWM, the 1311 or the busse kukri.

I think many people believe this, and given people do a lot of chopping wile camping, they're mistaking the NMFSH for the best chopper. It can't be the best at outright chopping. That doesn't make sense. It's just a more versatile chopper.

On a side note, I don't even think the NMFSH is the best camp knife. It's too big (long) to be truly versatile. The HHFSM on the other hand...

All this NMFSH talk is making me really impatient!!! I hope it is worth the wait after getting pushed back another 5 weeks.
