What?! The NMFSH is the KING of Busse choppers...? When did the BM get deposed?

I have not used my NMFSH yet, but I know I am going to love it when I do. As stated above, I think it is going to be a fantastic camp knife and a pretty decent chopper. But there is no way it is going to dethrone the Battle Mistress as chopper king.

I have been using my FFFBM for five years and it still amazes me how well it chops. Sometimes I have to pause, blink a few times, and wonder how the heck I made it through ______ (fill in the blank) with one chop. I don't see the FSH doing that; the physics aren't there. But I still love the knife!

...man, I've been lovin' the big-blade smack-off - wish I was wherever they're gonna get arm weary testin' out everybody's claims - I'd bring this swingin' monster to muddy up the waters a bit...

^ that's a heck of a chopper. I'd put the 1311 up against that with no hesitation, if i had a similar grind on it, but that full convex grind is going to give you an edge. Mine has a convex edge, but the blade is a FFG...

We seriously need a chop off

BeP - you'd lose...she chops logs like a rabid beaver in heat ...and gives you arms like Popeye while doin' it!

don't mind losing... who really loses in a chop off? Everyone gets to slice some crap up. Choppin the crap out of some wood can only be a happy event :)

If I had to go with a single chopper, I'd probably go with a 1 of 300 SHBM. Had a couple over the years and they were sweet choppers. But since they are no longer with me, the NMFSH fits the bill nicely :D

^^ This if I had to pick JUST one.
I don't know that the 1/300 is the best chopper in terms of efficiency, but definitely is when speaking of extened use comfortability.
