What thickness for liners on this necker?

I'm having some trouble visualizing the liner thicknesses on this necker. I want to do a few with g10 liners, but I'm not sure if I should go with .030 or .060?

The handle is about 0.40"ish thick overall, with 0.93" of that being blade stock. Is there a guideline I should know about? It seems that 0.030" would be more appropriate on a little knife like this, but I'm not sure if that thin will even have a point to be there? I guess I don't know what I don't know.

Educate me?

To each his own, this one for me is .030. 60 thou and up starts getting to be pretty bold and can take away more than it adds. I like subtle highlights for woods especially. MY guideline is as mentioned. Mostly thick g-10, for me, may see .060 ish but not out of the 60's. Then it begins to be come less of a liner and just two stacked handle materials. Decent look under "jade" g-10 for me, but otherwise, nah.

I use .03 liner material and .25 scales. This gives plenty of material to grind off and get the handle shape I want.
