What thickness to get for liner material?

I was looking on Usaknifemaker.com for mosaic pins and liner material and noticed they have several sizes.

What is the most common used size for fixed blade knives?

.031
.062
.125

I didn't even know there were different sizes, I just thought that when you bought liner material, it was all 1 general size.

For under scaleson fixed blades I use the .020 for a nice thin defined line.

Yeah, I think thin looks better. I use .031 a lot more than .062

Thanks Nathan, I think .31 should look good. Not too thin and not too thick.

I like the .031, sometimes the .020 seems too thin, especially in black

I think it depends on wht material you are going to back. Ivory I use .20 in either red or black. Same on mammoth tooth, just enought ot hold it together. Woods fro the most part I use the .30-.31 to show a good contrast.
