What tiny flashlight for the Spec-Ops pouch?

I like the AAA Fenix too

Question: How does the Spec Ops sheath fit with the TGLB? I am considering getting one.

To answer your question, if price is no object, I would get the Sunwayman Ti. I recently got one myself and I is the best EDC light I have ever had or seen for that matter.

Perfectly.

take out the plastic insert, heat it to a low heat (it's thin, i heated mine to about 250-300), put the TGLB in it, and press it between some towels on a flat surface. When you put it back in the spec ops, it feels like it was made for it.

Another big Fenix fan here. IMHO you cant beat there quality for the price.

The E01 is my favorite light for survival tins, keychains, and front straps on backpacks for its small size and long battery life. If you want something brighter check out the E15.

Heres a pic for size comparison. From left to right: E05, E01, E15, and E11.

The only thing i did to make it fit my TGLB perfectly was heat the sides of the opening, then press the tglb in until it made indentions in the sides where the guards are. This made it seat fully into the sheath and made it much more secure

'Nother Fenix E01 vote here, got a handful of those things and they just don't quit. For close to $10 thats pretty hard to beat.

Ok I checked them out. E05 is most likely what I'm getting.

But is the beam adjustable on those to make them dimmer and brighter?

Thanks!

No, there is only 1 setting on the E05. I just got one for my mother last week.

In my sheath i carry the following

Coast PX25 208 lumen flashlight

Whats the catch with this Coast PX25? Is gets great reviews, has amazing light output, water proof and It's well made all for about $50. I really like the Surefire EB1, but there's no way I'm spending $160 on a back up flashlight. My 6Pled defender wasn't even that much.

I have a hundred flashlights. The one I currently use is a Titanium Innovations IlluminaTi AAA key chain twisty. The body is Ti, the output in three levels culminates at 115 lumens, the clip is reversible for baseball cap use, and the thing tail stands. The Ti model is around $50, but I think it is avalable in Aluminum for less. If you need any other light, contact me. All the old ones are on the block.

had a fenix eo1 die on me, battery was lodged inside, ive heard many other stories of this happening, but it was so cheap whatever. I replaced it with the Eagletac d25A clicky and this thing is freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!! http://flashlightnews.net/forum/index.php?topic=2822.0
<--- good write up on one type, kicks the e01 to the curb and is barely bigger

I checked out the eagletac.

That's a pretty awesome light...but the clicky version is $50+ which, for this light, is a little too much. Many more bells and whistles than the E05 but I'm still leaning toward the fenix for a light I might never even use unless the SHTF.

Also, will the eagletac or fenix fit along side an altoids tin in the spec-ops sheath?...Or inside of an altoids tin?

Thanks

I have the ITP a3EOS which is the same as the County Comm Maratac. I have carried one everyday for about 3 years and wouldn't be without it. I don't even know it's in my pocket until I need a light for something. One AAA lasts a long time for me.
