My DBVUK has a more "finished" look compared to my KLVUK. There are less hammer marks and the handle seems to curve with the blade shape better. I also prefer the decretive fuller work on the DBVUK, there is a cool sun marking at the spine where the blade starts to bend. It a little larger than the KLUVK but feels more refined.
I have neem on my KLUVK and its has some dead sexy grain going on, the handle on the DBUVK is a red Dhar wood and is also extremely cool looking. I prefer neem due to the beauty that is imparted into the wood when proper attention is paid to it. I also see why people are recommending the 15 AK. I have a Bhakta made 15in 22oz (feels lighter) Ang Khola, I got it without a karda and chakma on a DOTD. It also had a small crack in the handle. I repaired the crack with epoxy, I wasn't to worried about the karda and chakma because I always carry a small blade as back up. I rarely if every use the chakma, I prefer wet dry sand paper for sharpening and I have a ton of other chakma for edge straightening.
The DBVUK, KLVUk or the AK will serve you great. The villagers are the more utilitarian khuk's but the AK has the same abilities with an amazing polish that the Kami's attain with special stones. The AK is a little more handy in my opinion due to the sheath already being made and those fullers will infect you with the HIKV in no time.
