What to do after you found the pefect knife?

I have been looking for "THE'' perfect knife for over forty years now, found one then another, then another, now I have this.

I would love to have you come in and take a gander, Knifemaker Robert Dark visited recently, I think he stayed longer than planned, but knives by the older makers were of interest to him. You will be welcome. Tell you what, I will pay the Motel bill, but you have to use your frequent flyer miles to get to Birmingham and I can pick you up there.
Come on down, don't forget to bring something interesting.

I'm with USSR in that I like to have a back up when possible if the knife means that much to me. Having an unused spare in the safe can be a good thing IMO. Joe

I'm afraid I can't aford a spare, but I'm not afraid to use it! If I was to stand in front of that wall of knives I would be there a while too!

wow...what a pic...!! Sell those and I can pay off my house! Now, there's a knife nut! If someone has a bigger display I'd like to see it!

It did take over forty years of collecting items, to get that wall of knives. I appreciate all the kind comments. If you are ever down this way, send me an email or PM and I will be glad to show and tell. If you click the collection in my signature line, I have the display divided up into 6 sections, click on the magnifier in upper right corner of each picture and you can really see some details, even read brand names on some.

Thanks again for the comments, you made an old man proud.
Jim
