Hey guys, I finalized a deal on Tuesday evening with someone, via email, through the exchange. The knives + cash had a value of about 200 dollars. Tuesday evening the deal was both of us would get the knives out the following day. I did my part, and sent the DC number. He has not responded to a single email after I sent the knives out. Checking the DC number, I know my knives arrived and were delivered to him. and I have yet to hear from him. I find it odd, because he is a gold member on the forums and has over 30+ good feedback, but its been 4 days, and he already has the knives I sent to him.

Is there anything I should do about this?
Is there anything I can do about this?

What would you guys recommend?

If he's a gold member, you can send him a PM & an email and try to make contact. Your knives may be on the way as we're discussing them too.

He may have gotten sick, called out of town for an emergency - a hundred different things. I'd try to make contact for another week before taking this to the next level.

It's unfortunate but stuff happens. :)

Give him a few more days, just to see if something happened , if still no response post it in the feedback section of who he his what he did, most of the time people posts the peoples real name address and so forth, also did you save all of the e-mails where you guys talked abouth the details of the transaction, If so you can print those out and take them to the postal inspectors and file charges, all this of course IF something didn't come up with the guys family , or personal life and he's just been unable to get back with you.

Also if it makes you feel better, I had a transaction one time, I asked the guy to ship first, well I got his knife so I shipped mine afterwards, I tracked the knife and saw it was delivered but I waited and waited and never got a response from the guy who I traded with, I e-mailed him daily asking if he got the knife and nothing, So i'm freaking out thinking it went to the wrong address, Come to find out the guy had gotten sick and was in the hospital. That's just an example of things happen Someone with close to 30 positive feedbacks, not saying they couldn't rip you off, I'm just saying they've been around the block a few times and more than likely something has happened and he can't get back with you right now, I would be freaking out too, but just give it time, I sent you an e-mail, and I may be able to help you out, just shoot me an e-mail when you read mine though and I'll see if I can help you out.

Four days is nothing, I know you want your knives, but something may have happened out of the other person's control. Give it a week/ 10 days. Sent a few follow-up PMs/EMs, but don't go sending one every 30 minutes asking for an update.

You can play stalker and check his profile/latest posts. If there aren't any recent posts since you last contacted him its possible he hasn't been to the computer at all to receive your emails.

I would be surprised if he is scamming you. Give him a few more days.........
