What to do...

I also rarely post in this forum, But I read it every single day. It's a totally different feel in this forum than other manufacturers forums where there is neither a real representative of the company, or if there is, it's someone who is disinterested and it's just one of their duties to patrol it. Thomas tells it like it is about whatever aspect of the company is being discussed, he is extremely knowledgable about all those aspects, and most of all you can tell that he loves the knives. That is what matters here. I've seen times that Thomas has upset people by being blunt and having his own opinion. I happen to like that. I personally do not understand the concept of the customer always being right. In my line of work the majority if customers are great, but there are always those who have issues. There are definitely people who have valid issues and are reasonable people and things get worked out. There are however people who manufacture problems and issues and can't be pleased. This is just the nature of some people. Whether their parents spoiled them when they were kids or what, I don't know, but all they want is to impose their will on others or get something free. We all know that these people just want to come out on top no matter what, so cowtowing to them will just give them the idea they can push further and get more the next time. I guess Thomas isn't like that and he's either got to be himself or take off. Well I say be yourself! 99.9% of us here appreciate it!

Besides, I still haven't figured out a way to get one of those free knives he's always giving away. How will I ever get a chance with him being gone?! :D

You should Stay! You care very much about Kershaw and make this an excellent forum. I post very little here but really enjoy this forum and your input.

I vote stay. You are the primary force behind my loyalty to a brand that cares enough to be as involved as you are on these forums. Short break? If you feel you need it, then who are we to tell you not to. Input on permanent retirement from the forums? Please don't. I know it's been said a lot, but it really wouldn't be the same without you. Your participation is appreciated and those who feel it necessary to call for your job as retaliation for your personal views and opinions must have nothing better to do than think their life would be fulfilled by accomplishing such a task. That's precisely why they judge their importance in the world by who they can "get to" and why they are now commonly referred to as Trolls.

Unselfishly, I hope you do what makes you the happiest and keeps you sane. Selfishly I hope you stay for those of us who look forward to responses and interacting with you. Thanks again for all you do.
