What to get next? (Fixed blade collection optimization)

The budget question is where I would start the discussion.

I like Busse, I like Swamprat and Scrap Yard for plain fun tough knives.

Lately, I've been moving more toward customs, and khukri from Himalayan Imports. I've bought one second hand, but unused, and another new but discounted for a little rust. Very fun, and great value.
If you watch the deals on their subforun, youbcan pick up a neat Khukri for about 100+

You have a good lineup of very useful fixed blades in the smaller category.

Consider this another vote for a BK7/9. The 7 was once my most used fixed blade, and the 9 sat; now, for chopping and similar big knife tasks, the 9 is the smallest I grab (and I carry a small fixed blade for "normal" tasks).

How about an EDC fixed-blade knife, with about a 3-in blade for potential pocket carry. Also, it appears you could use a blade with a full convex grind.

You could go for some higher end knives. A BK-7 or BK-9 are easy choices to add some diversity to the accumulation. As far as using goes, I tend to go larger than a BK-9 for wood wacking. How about the Griffin X?

How about a White River Backpacker Pro? Real nice blade.

I think you are referring to the limited edition BK98 Tuko from 2018. Great knife!

I was betting limited edition haha--it's like I have a sixth sense for the rare stuff.

Looks like a great performer. Gonna have to keep an eye out for one of those.

To OP, get the next Becker Tuko that comes around. If you don't, I will ;) Outside of that a big bowie is always nice. Yakut knives are also cool if you like woodworking type knives.

buck's 119 is 6" and has one of the most iconic clip point blades in a very tough stainless steel, and even if you splurge and get the cocobola wood handle it's under $100

if you want something even tougher, you can get them in 5160 non-stainless for only $70, or even s30v for about double that
